Holidays around the world... Where's MINE
So I sit in my office week after week just like Trillions of others and I count down the days until the next holiday. Why, because I want a day off of work just like anyone reading this. So I have decided that I am going to start my own holiday. What it is in celebration of I do not know yet. I don't know what events will take place in celebration of whatever it is that will be celebrated and I don't know when the holiday will take place. All I do know is that this holiday will be the biggest and best holiday that a lowly Advertiser can come up with. And even though it will probably only be recognized by my wife and I who cares it just means that I'll have the day off while everyone else is at work! I mean if L. Ron Hubbard can admit that he made up a religion can't I make up a holiday? So yeah I am working on the details and I'll post them as I come up with them. If you have ideas shoot them my way but don't feel bad if I don't use them.

Making up for lost time.
So I just remembered that I have not posted on this blog since my first post. I have a few blogs that I've saved but not published and they are really kind of cheesy. Anyway I just haven't felt like I've had much to say lately or I have but I've been trying to be good. So I am going to vomit a bunch of my thoughts and get them off my chest.... ready here I go.
Politics: Both of the major parties are made up of superficial, self righteous, pretentious ass hats. I am tired of PR tactics where you only argue using attacks. If I found a candidate that moved above the personal crap and only focused on what they wanted to do if elected... what they would change and how or what they would maintain, I'd vote for them no questions.
TV: I don't watch a lot of TV other than IFC, DOC, Discovery, Animal planet, and the news but I am so tired of hearing everyone on the news or even in casual conversations talking about American Idol. I don't care if the contestants were singing on stage nude. I don't find the show or the concept at all entertaining.
Work: I need a break, I need a break, I need a break. I am ready to pull a Chris McCandless and disappear (only I would take my family and I wouldn't be in a bus in Alaska in the middle of the winter)
Okay, now I thinking of a lot to say but it is late and I need to go home!

Turning a new leaf = New blog
I've not really turned a new leave I've just decided to start a new blog, one that I won't be ashamed to let my Mom read! So for those of you used to reading my other blogs about my random experiences with psychotic bosses or marketing in a web 2.0 world... sorry you won't find much if any of that here.
This blog will be something I swore I'd never do, a sort of online journal of my most mundane thoughts (everyone knows what a deep thinker I am), trip logs, maybe some rants just to get back to my comfort zone. So if I cursed everyone who chronicled their daily lives in a blog and then invited me to read them as if anyone has time to read that many blogs in a day, why am I starting one? Well it is because I've had a change of heart. I've come to enjoy reading about the lives and experiences of my friends and family (who knew some of you could be so dang creative, I really didn't know you had it in you.) Though I will always love the informational and ranting blogs, I have gained a new respect for journal type blogs... however that doesn't mean I am going to blog about every detail of my day because I understand that nobody cares and rightfully so! Geez I don't even care that much about my day!
So hopefully this will be a fun blog something that yes my Mom can read and not break down crying "Where did I go wrong in raising him" (love you Mom!) Everyone knows there was nothing you could have done... My brother and sisters will be the first to point that out if they read this. Anyway, keep coming back there will hopefully be something fun every now and then.
